After having copied almost every Hollywood blockbuster, it was about time for the Turks to make their own Italo-crime imitation! Cuneyt Arkin (Turkey's Alain Delon) is a cop who fights against the mafia. They retaliate by killing his family in a car explosion. If that reminds you something its because you have seen TONY ARZENTA-BIG GUNS! Originally titled BIRAKIN YASASINLAR, this may be a frame by frame rip-off of the Delon/Duccio Tessari  movie (even imitating the fishtank explosion sequence!) but even has the nerve to throw in some DIRTY HARRY elements for good measure! Plus, you get the usual outrageous violence, breath-taking stunts by Arkin, sleazy sex, rape and torture! Oh and it "borrows" the Ennio Morricone score from "LE MARGINAL"! Needless to say, TURKISH BIG GUNS comes with our highest possible recommendations! Turkish hyper-trashy fun at its best!

Cemil (Cuneyt Arkin), a surgeon, lives a normal life along with his wife and daughter. One morning, his daughter and her friend are attacked by a punch of punks. They rape and kill the girl and then break into Cemil's house to rape and kill his daughter. His wife goes insane and is locked up in a mental hospital. Naturally, he becomes the Turkish version of Paul Kersey (even wearing a hat similar to Bronson's), goes out for revenge and finds the murderers in a disco which is owned by a local mafia boss. He kills them one by one and cuts off their heads and takes them to the mental hospital for his wife to see! Obviously this is a shameless DW2 rip-off complete with the Jimmy Page score lifted, not to mention the scores from FIRST BLOOD and MANIAC used here once again! The house invasion sequence is lifted from DW2, frame-by-frame! Painfully bad and shot on video, this is a must-see! aka SOKAKLARIN KANUNU- not to be confused with the same-titled 1964 film!

A violent cop (Cuneyt Arkin of DEATH WARRIOR fame) fights them with his martial arts skills. However he comes across an unpleasant surprise when he discovers that his own son is a drug addict! KELEPCE is packed with gunfights, car chases, bloody killings, stock footage of explosions, drama, hilarious drug abuse and withdrawal scenes... actually it's got too much of everything. Cetin Inanc, the master of Turkish exploitation directs KELEPCE in a furious way, like only he could. The lack of English options shouldn't be a drawback as this is very predictable and hardly relies on dialogue. An essential viewing for fans of ultra-trashy action! Also known as TURKISH DIRTY HARRY!

Former war veteran Kan Rambo (Turkish cult cinema legend Cuneyt Arkin) has to fight against an evil gang of bikers when they refuse to let him enter their village and live a peaceful life. Poor Sly Stallone would probably have a stroke if he ever had a chance to view this atrocious, unbelievable piece of trash! Besides the hilarious direction and editing and the destructive sound FX make this an unbelievable viewing experience. Not to mention there is plenty of gore and even a bunch of zombies attacking a young woman (who has the camera placed between her legs while driving her car). VAHSI KAN has no shame when it comes to ripping off Ted Kotcheff's action blockbuster- they even lifted Jerry Goldsmith's score! Our print is guaranteed to be the finest you will find!

Anyway, Dilber Ay (the Turkish Charles Bronson) is a watermelon seller who battles a bunch of mobsters that try to take control of his business. He gets in jail and soon escapes along with a nasty hitman who wants to whack him. Throw some near-hardcore sex in the menu and you got KARPUZCU. A very obscure film is presented here in a good-looking, uncut print. A bizarre mix of sleazy sex and explosive action! For adventurous viewers only!

Not to mention it shamelessly lifts Jerry Goldsmith's scores for both FIRST BLOOD and RAMBO FIRST BLOOD 2! The finale that involves a rocket launcher is certainly one of the trashiest moments in the history of Z-grade cinema. KORKUSUZ is a film that has to be seen to be believed and comes with our highest recommendations.

Box, Box, Box! Turkish Sylvester Stallone SERDAR returns as the Turkish version of Rocky. He has to fight against the Italian world champion, Maurizio Martino. However the ruthless mobsters are determined to go out of their way to stop him. They murder his father during the final boxing match. Obviously this is a shameless ROCKY imitation, complete with the classic Bill Conti score and endless training sequences. Add some Turkish belly dancing and you got a trash cinema classic! Serdar trains harder than Sly as he likes to run around under the hot sun, covered with plastic bags! Also known as BLACK THUNDER and TURKISH ROCKY, this one has to be seen to be believed!
